LITERAIR PROGRAMMA AMALGAAM TIJDENS POËZIEWEEK 2016 IN TILBURG

op 2 februari 2016 in wijkcentrum De Poorten, Tilburg om 20:00 in het kader van Week van de Poëzie 2016 met het THEMA HERINNERING met bekende en nieuwe stemmen van Tilburgse dichters

1. Jef van Kempen leest eigen gedichten en een gedicht van Henry Dolmans uit 1898 ter gelegenheid van de inwijding van de splinternieuwe kerk OLV van de Rozenkrans (Hasselt / De Poorten).
2. Cees van Raak licht de geschiedenis toe van het huidige wijkcentrum De Poorten. Zijn historisch perspectief is gepubliceerd in Van Godshuis tot De Poorten: Geschiedenis van de Hasseltse kerk (2005).
3. Jasper Mikkers leest drie ongepubliceerde gedichten uit zijn kindertijd met het kopje “de God van het kind” als tegenpool met de devotie en negentiende eeuw se taalgebruik van Henri Dolmans.

Nieuwe dichterstemmen uit Tilburg en Leuven
4. Carina van der Walt (woonachtig in Tilburg, maar geboren in ZA)
en Willy Martin (een professionele jet setter onder de Vlaamse academici)
Zij schrijven naar elkaar toe en uit elkaar uit in de tweetalige dichtbundel AMALGAAM.
Het programma wordt onderbouwd door digitale projecties van teksten en beelden.
