Alice De Chambrier: Sérénade

Sérénade

S’il vous fallait un coeur, mignonne,
Un coeur pour vous aimer beaucoup,
Le mien n’appartient à personne,
Il vous aime par dessus tout.

S’il vous fallait un coeur, mignonne,
Un coeur à vous, tout entier
Le mien n’appartient à personne
Un mot de vous peut le lier.

S’il vous fallait un coeur, mignonne,
Un coeur pour vous en amuser
Le mien n’appartient à personne
Il est à vous pour un baiser.

S’il vous fallait un coeur, mignonne,
Un coeur pour après l’oublier
Le mien n’appartient à personne
Vous pouvez le mystifier.

Mais pourtant, sachez-le, mignonne,
Si ce coeur était méprisé
Il ne croirait plus en personne
Car du coup vous l’auriez brisé.
