BERT BEVERS: AVONDKLOK

Bert_Bevers53

Avondklok

Strooptrage winter. Zangen verwaaien over vermolmd
hout. Er zijn letters genoeg, vertrouwd als postbestellers.
Mensen willen helemaal niet weten waar alles eigenlijk
over gaat. Ze fluiten zachtjes achter reeds gevallen doek,
om ter snelst de lichten dovend. Daar zitten ze dan achter
hun luiken, de legioenen van verdwaalden. Wanneer we niet

uitkijken zullen farizeeërs de wereld erven. Wachtwoorden
kraken. Demontage. Vreemdelingen vermijden frontlijnen,
buiten. Morgen zullen ze in hun opschrijfboekjes plaats
en uur noteren. Er gaan heldere gebeden vuurwaarts, en
het is alsof wat wij doen niet echt is. Men fluistert dat
ondank van een kind nog feller bijt dan addertanden.
