Alfons Petzold: An einen Dichter

petzoldalfons 03

Alfons Petzold

(1882-1923)

An einen Dichter

Tausend Jahre sind nicht viel,

nur ein Schritt ins Land der Ferne,

kreisendes Minutenspiel

für die Sonne und die Sterne.

Weiser, der ins Dunkel sinnt

um die Gottheit zu erfassen,

deine Stunde läuft wie Wind

durch die Stille fremder Gassen.

Aber mitten in dem Braus

deiner Tage sollst du sinnen.

Doppelt wird dann in dein Haus

wundersame Weisheit rinnen.

In der Bogenlampen Licht

und der Räder wildem Drehen

wird dir wie ein Psalmgedicht

Deine Ewigkeit erstehen.
