BERT BEVERS: OVER HET WATER

Bert_Bevers53

Over het water

Hoor aan de overkant de holle ernst van ouderlingen
in hun kamergrote gemeenten. Zij putten geloof uit
het spieden in vergeten spraken. Door hun ruiten zien
zij eenvoudige lieden passeren, en geschoren schapen
tegen dijken lopen. Ginder beginnen, van nabijheid

verstoken, golven traag te kolken. Krabben kruipen hoog
het strand op: er is zwaar weer op komst, zwaar weer.
