FRANCISCA STOECKLIN: AN DIE LIEBE

stoecklinfrancisca

Francisca Stoecklin
(1894-1931)

An die Liebe

Alle suchen sie dich
und überall lockst du.
Aus tausend Verhüllungen schimmert
dein unenträtselt Gesicht.
Aber wenigen nur
gewährst du Erfüllung,
selige Tage, reines Glück.
Zärtlich wehn dich die Blumen,
die scheuen Gräser,
der Schmetterlinge heiterer Flug;
wilder der Wind
und das ewig sich wandelnde Meer.
Wunderbar strahlst du
aus den Augen des Menschen,
der ein Geliebtes
in seinen Armen hält,
vom tönenden Sternenhimmel überwölbt.
In die zitternde Seele
schweben Schauer
von Leben und Tod.
