Alleen op Sulawesi

Bijna iedereen zegt ‘Hè, bah!’
wanneer jij je gezicht vertoont.
Het zijn die natte wroetneus
en die rare kromme tanden
die bevreemden, babiroessa.

Ik aai je graag, je komt er echt
voor liggen. Je slimme ogen
zeggen dat je blij bent dat ik
daar naar kijk. Alleen op Sulawesi
kom jij voor. Je lust graag appels.

In een vloek en een zucht zijn
die vermalen. Je staart lijkt op die
van een olifant, wist je dat? Scharrel
rustig voort, zachtmoedig zwijn. Ruik
fijn verder naar vers fruit en regen.
