Bij de grafiek van Gerrit Westerveld

 

Rustig drukker duwt hij zijn vormen

papier op geestdriftig in wachtende kleuren.

Alle lagen zijn hem hiervan even lief.

Hij plet ze zacht totdat het vierkant staat.

 

Dit werk kent slechts zijn eigen normen,

tolt zich de blik in als draaiende deuren

gelijk open in een waaierend perspectief

en gesloten als een kermis bij dageraad.
