Déesse aux yeux d’azur, aux épaules d’albâtre,
Belle muse païenne au sourire adoré,
Viens, laisse-moi presser de ma lèvre idolâtre
Ton front qui resplendit sous un pampre doré.

Vois-tu ce vert sentier qui mène à la colline ?
Là, je t’embrasserai sous le clair firmament,
Et de la tiède nuit la lueur argentine
Sur tes contours divins flottera mollement.
