SONSBEEK ’16: transACTION

SONSBEEK16-01SONSBEEK ’16: transACTION vindt nog tot en met 18 september plaats in Park Sonsbeek, de stad Arnhem en Museum Arnhem. Curator van deze elfde editie is het collectief ruangrupa. In Park Sonsbeek komen installaties waar deelnemende kunstenaars de gehele tentoonstellingsperiode ook lezingen, workshops en performances geven. In het centrum van Arnhem komen op enkele prominente plekken muurschilderingen, installaties en interventies die – als onderdeel van ruangrupa’s onderzoek naar bewoners en stad – de openbare ruimte een impuls geven.

In Museum Arnhem is gedurende SONSBEEK ’16 de tentoonstelling transHISTORY te zien. Deze groepstentoonstelling van tien internationale kunstenaars werpt een ander licht op de officiële, geautoriseerde geschiedenis. Ook in Museum Bronbeek is er een werk te zien én er wordt nauw samengewerkt met onder andere kunstacademie ArtEZ en lokale culturele partners zoals Motel Spatie, Focus Filmtheater, Generale Oost en Code Rood.
