Opening Lustwarande ’11 Raw op 25 juni 2011

Fundament organiseert LUSTWARANDE 2011

25 juni tm 25 september 2011 – Tilburg, park De Oude Warande

Barok bos De Oude Warande bleek in 2000 uiterst geschikt voor de presentatie van hedendaagse sculptuur. Sindsdien transformeert Fundament dit park iedere drie tot vier jaar tot podium voor Lustwarande. Deze internationale expositie, die een stand van zaken toont van de ontwikkelingen in de sculptuur, is gratis toegankelijk en trekt een groeiend aantal bezoekers, met een record van meer dan 100.000 in 2008.

Aan Lustwarande `11 – Raw nemen 30 kunstenaars uit diverse landen deel, van wie het merendeel zelden of nooit eerder in Nederland geëxposeerd heeft. Naast paviljoen Grotto van Callum Morton (2009) telt Raw een solo en 28 andere werken, waaronder sculpturen, performances en actions. Van deze 28 werken zijn er 20 nieuw.
