Iers gedicht ‘A-tá ben as-tír’ vertaald door Lauran Toorians

Iers gedicht ‘A-tá ben as-tír’

vertaald door Lauran Toorians

A-tá ben as-tír,

ní eprimm a hainm;

maidid essí a deilm

amal chloich a tailm.

Er is een vrouw in het land,

ik zal haar naam niet noemen,

die winden laat met een lawaai

als een steen uit een slinger.
