Ton van Reen gedicht: Dode vogel

DODE VOGEL

Een dode vogel
in een droog landschap

De nagels in een laatste kramp
vastgeklemd rond de tak
houden hem overeind in de zon

Kleurige vleugels
bedekken zijn lege lijf
de witte oogkassen
door de wind leeggevreten

Hij is de wachter
die waarschuwt voor de dood
