Pieter slaapt, in mist verzonken,
Lamplicht glinstert op de straat,
De Nevá weerspiegelt vonken
Van een verre dageraad.

In die verre gloed van morgen,

Paul Bezembinder studeerde theoretische natuurkunde in Nijmegen. In zijn poëzie zoekt hij in vooral klassieke versvormen en thema’s naar de balans tussen serieuze poëzie, pastiche en smartlap. Zijn gedichten (Nederlands) en vertalingen (Russisch-Nederlands) verschenen in verschillende (online) literaire tijdschriften.
